He was a firefighter, but he could not put out the flame Ashley sparked in his heart. A good glass of wine brought them to a vineyard where they got engaged and then to another vineyard to seal the deal. It was a sizzling hot summer's day in Napa but fun was had by all.
The simple but lovely celebration was filled with a handful of close family and friends; all were seated family style for a cozy reception and cheered loudly. The only one missing was Ashley's brother who was serving overseas as a naval aviator. In a beautiful touch of affection, Ashley wore a bracelet made to symbolize that even with the physical distance, their hearts were all together on this special day.
